You do not have permissions to make this API call -
Cause:
This error normally happens if there was an order that was placed and the funds were not collected prior to the dealership changing the PayPal API Credentials used to link the Dealership's Ecommerce Portal to the PayPal account.
Recommended Resolution:
There are 2 ways that this order can be resolved:
- You can update the PayPal API in the Ecomm Portal to what it was at the time the order was placed and attempt to process the order. Then update the PayPal API in the Ecomm Portal back to what it currently is. This would have the funds from the order deposited into the account linked to the PayPal account that was in use at the time the order was placed.
- You can call the customer and process their payment over the phone at your Parts Counter Point of Sale Register. Once the order is processed Reality can then update the order via the back end to remove it from the Order Manager Open Order Queue. - By Reality Updating the Order Status the system does not trigger the collection of funds
